At the recently held WLTP Challenge organised by Fleet World magazine, Suzuki is pleased to announce that its Swift Attitude model achieved 73.32 mpg, representing a 21.92 mpg improvement over the official WLTP fuel consumption regulation introduced for all new car registrations since September 2018.
Attitude is powered by Suzuki’s renowned 1.2-litre Dualjet 4-cylinder 90HP petrol engine and was driven the 220 miles test route by Hayley Everett from Fleet World magazine. At the finishing point, Hayley managed to attain a 42.65 per cent improvement over the official combined WLTP figure.
Swift Attitude has a kerb weight of just 980kg and combined with its 1.2-litre Dualjet engine proved to be a strong competitor finishing third overall for recorded fuel consumption amongst a wide group of 13 petrol, diesel, hybrid and PHEV models that entered this year. Pure EV models from various manufacturers were in a separately judged group.
Excluding the 1.4-litre Boosterjet Swift Sport, all Swift models are available VAT free until the end of 2019 which represents a saving of £2,482 for the Attitude model.
For customers looking at PCP (Personal Contract Purchase), a £1,250 deposit contribution is available for those choosing to finance the Attitude model through Suzuki Financial Services. A low customer deposit of £1,482 is then all that’s required resulting in monthly payments of just £149 over 48 months.
An optional payment of £4,761 would then be required to keep the car at the end of the agreement.
